Wallan Our lady implemented a sensory wellbeing space as part of their behaviour support plans, they requested a social & emotional area where their students are able to visit pre melt-down, in order to manage their behaviour’s & emotions.
Ability Space provided a customised large portable sensory room to equip their school with the best possible wellbeing solutions for their students.

The addition of a sliding glass door allows for natural light as well as visibility into and out of the Sensory Room. It sits nicely on the planned space and we will be able to landscape around it.
It is a great space for students to re-regulate, work in small groups or simply have time out.
A space that is dedicated to the sensory needs of our students is invaluable. It provides a specific area for our students to work on their self regulation skills so they can better engage in their learning experiences.
